'''Ant Lion''' is a vulgar, small ant character appearing in ''[[Tails Gets Trolled Polished]]''. He is trolled by [[Butter Tits]] and [[The Dick Taker]] but stands his ground against them, and later joins up with [[Shadow]] and his group's efforts in burying the two trolls after they are killed.

==History==
Ant Lion is first seen passing by the cave belonging to the Retard Double Threat. The two trolls then emerge from their cave and troll him, but their attention quickly shifts to Shadow, who has brought [[Tails]] and [[Knuckles]] to demonstrate the proper method of dealing with trolls. Ant Lion cheers as Shadow trolls back and gets excited as Shadow murders them. Due to his small stature, he is not noticed by the group as he cheers them on. After the trolls have been slain, Ant Lion climbs onto Shadow's shoulder and compliments him.

Ant Lion starts gushing over Shadow's murderous approach and begs to tag along. Shadow is apathetic to his praise, but Knuckles offers to take him and allows him to ride on his shoulder. He and Knuckles quickly bond as they exchange friendly banter. From then, he "helps" the group drag the bodies of the two to bury them. Knuckles splits from the group to find shovels in one of their hideouts. Ant Lion makes some snarky remarks over Knuckles' clumsiness but the two are able to find what they need.

Back to Tails, a ghostly apparition of Ant Lion appears on his shoulder. The Ant Lion begins to speak to Tails regarding the murder of Butter Tits and Dick Taker. He insists that the two deserved their deaths and will be forgotten by the world. Tails insists the opposite, stating even though they were trolls, he would never forget them. The ghostly Ant Lion laughs and promptly vanishes.

==Personality==
Ant Lion is highly aggressive and can be vulgar when expressing his opinions. He gladly cheers on the deaths of Butter Tits and Dick Taker without a sense of remorse, and highly respects Shadow for his violent ways.

==Abilities==
Ant Lion has not shown any particular powers of note, though he does appear to strong physically since he is shown lifting a large rock (for his size) on Page 31 of Polished. He does appear to have a strange form in which he enshrouds a person in darkness and speaks to them, but it is unknown if this is a power of his own or a hallucination brought about by Tails.

==Trivia==
* Ant Lion is often mistaken as a character from the 1998 film ''[[Wikipedia:Antz|Antz]]'', when in actuality, he is a character original to ''Tails Gets Trolled''. This is most likely because Ant Lion erroneously believed he participated in the plot of the movie on {{Link|Pp|32}} before correcting himself.
* On {{Link|Pp|22}}, [[Knuckles]] also compares Ant Lion to ''[[Wikipedia:A Bug's Life|A Bug's Life]]'', another CGI animated film featuring ants from 1998. ''A Bug's Life'' and ''Antz'''s similarities and close release dates were the subject of a feud between the films' producers, [[Wikipedia:The Walt Disney Company|Disney]]/[[Wikipedia:Pixar|Pixar]] and [[Wikipedia:DreamWorks Animation|DreamWorks]], respectively.
