==Appearance==
It is unknown as to what Mr. Clair looks like due to him being covered by shadows. From his outlines, he appears to have a beard and wears a hat.

==History==
Not much is known about Mr. Clair. At some point in time, he obtains both [[Travous]] and [[Lord Thunder Claw]] and becomes their master.

In ''Polished'', he is seen conversing with [[Troll King]] in the shadows. He asks for Troll King to retrieve the "Book of Ryzel" so that he can translate it and learn of what secrets are found within. Troll King agrees (in exchange for a copy of the book once Mr. Clair is finished translating), but asks for one of his birds in exchange. Troll King requests for Travous, leaving Lord Thunder Claw. Mr. Clair then reveals that the Book is in possession of a [[Toad]] named [[Toadrake]], within the [[Mushroom Kingdom]] and tasks the King with finding it.

==Personality==
Mr. Clair looks down on Troll King, describing him as a filthy peasant. He also respects his bird companions a great deal, referring to them as his "pookies", and appears hesitant to lend one to Troll King at first.

==Abilities==
What Mr. Clair is capable of is unknown. He appears to be strong enough to be respected by Troll King himself (who does not attempt to fight or threaten Mr. Clair after being called a peasant), though for what reason is unknown.
