Kario is the father to Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi, a troll, and so shitty that he didn't even have a door on his back door.

History

Not much is known about Kario's past, aside from the fact that he married and had lots of unprotected sex with his wife, eventually becoming a father to four children. According to Pori in Chapter 17: Psychological Assessment, Shadow had met Kario in the past and recruited him into joining The Trolls.

During Mario's flashback, he explains that he and Luigi had spent a portion of their younger years searching for their parents, and eventually find Kario in his house. Kario initially does not remember the Mario Bros., stating that he had asked the stork long ago to abandon them (alongside Wario and Waluigi). He gleefully states how he does not love his kids and would not have them if it weren't for the joys of unprotected sex.

After leaving the brothers outside, Kario goes back inside to watch Cop's, but is shortly ambushed by Mario, who had snuck in through the back of the house, killing Kario's wife. Before he can act, Mario quickly knocks Kario to the ground using a bat. Kario laughs, stating that "trolls be trollin" and reveals to his son the existence of The Trolls, sparking Mario's hatred for them. Mario then finishes off Kario and sets the house on fire, burning both him and his wife with it.

Abilities

Kario is not shown to possess any physical abilities whatsoever. He is knocked down by Mario before he is given a chance to fight back.

Personality

Kario is neglectful and selfish, not caring for the well-being of anyone around him. He admits outright that he does not love any of his children nor his wife and is implied to beat her as seen by her black eye and bruises on her face. He is also addicted to cocaine and alcohol as evidenced by the syringe and white markings on his nose, and the beer bottle he carries with him.
